Perfect for a group adventure

We stayed in Glamping Tents, very cozy and private with amazing views right out our door. The nights were filled with stars and wildlife, like kangaroos wandering by the camp, you can't beat that!

It wasn’t cheap, but worth it for the experience.

Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, the resort offers exceptional tours. Our guide was knowledgeable and the included breakfast was delicious, setting the tone for a delightful stay.

Though the rooms are comfortable, service could improve, as staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Additionally, facility cleanliness might not meet everyone's expectations!

This was just a fitting option for a brief weekend stay in Hawker with definitely value for money. The flight over Wilpena Pound the following morning was spectacular. Consider checking road conditions before planning outdoor activities.

The location here is stunning, surrounded by nature and wildlife. My room in the Heysen Deluxe Double was beautifully maintained, clean, and had a comfortable bed. I loved the breathtaking walks and the excellent dining options at the restaurant, which offered diverse and delicious meals. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure I felt welcome during my stay. However, the service at the restaurant needs some improvement. I experienced a long wait time for meals. Additionally, the need for reservations adds unnecessary stress since it limits flexibility. The breakfast options could have been restocked better, especially after large groups finished eating. The price of the rooms felt steep given the service issues, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, the beauty of the surroundings and the quality of the food made my trip enjoyable, despite a few hiccups.

Staying in the spacious safari tent was a real treat, especially with the lovely peaceful treed outlook and comfy bed. I loved relaxing by the outdoor swimming pool and enjoyed the peaceful garden area as well. The room could use a little updating, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I’d definitely recommend it for a unique getaway! 🌳

i had a great time at discovery resorts, wilpena pound! the location was brilliant, and the views from tent 1 were stunning. we really enjoyed our walking tour with rigo, our aboriginal guide, who shared his knowledge of local plants and history. the heating kept us cozy on the chilly nights, and the staff were super helpful.

We loved staying in the Family Safari Tent with our dog! The serene atmosphere and the stellar views of the night sky made our trip unforgettable. We also took a scenic flight over the stunning landscape, which was a highlight of our adventure.

In my wife’s opinion, our kids wished the children's activities were more engaging and varied for their ages.

Better management could enhance the overall visitor experience dramatically.

Had a fantastic time with friends in the new Stargazing Safari tents. We explored Wilpena Pound and enjoyed cultural tours. A scenic flight over Lake Eyre was a highlight. The tents are super comfortable with great views. Just keep in mind that amenities like shuttle services might not be available immediately, so check ahead!
